Do you use AI to do client work?

Yes, openly and heavily — Claude for production builds and deployments, Gemini and GPT for research and drafts. AI is our leverage, not our replacement — every deliverable is directed, reviewed, and signed by us, and the savings show up in your price, not just our margin.

Yes — heavily, daily, and we'd rather tell you exactly how than let you wonder.

Spotlight Links runs a three-model stack: Claude (via Claude Code) does the production heavy lifting — client builds, deployments, schema and search architecture. Gemini handles research and long-document work. GPT covers drafts and quick utility tasks. In a typical week, Claude does the paid work; we've published our actual credit burn, down to the dollars, because we think vendors should show that math.

What AI does and doesn't do here

It does the labor. It doesn't do the judgment. Every engagement is scoped by us, directed by us, reviewed by us, and shipped under our name. The model writes code fast; deciding what to build, noticing when it's wrong, and refusing to ship mediocre work — that's the part you're actually hiring, and it doesn't delegate.

It doesn't mean generic output. The lazy version of AI-assisted work — bulk-generated content with no specifics — is precisely what AI search engines refuse to cite. Our use runs the other direction: the model does the heavy lifting so more of our human hours go into the specifics that make work citable — real prices, real service areas, real expertise, structured properly.

Why this is good for you, concretely

  • Speed. Work that took agency-weeks ships in days. The 30-day build is realistic because of this leverage.
  • Price. Our production cost for expert-hours dropped; our pricing reflects it. This is how small businesses get work that used to be enterprise-budget only — the economics are worth understanding whoever you hire.
  • Skin in the game. We sell AI visibility services and use these tools at their limits daily. You're not buying theory; you're buying what we practice on ourselves first — this site included.

The transparency commitments

  • We'll tell you what's AI-assisted in your engagement — the honest answer is "most of the labor, none of the accountability."
  • AI spend is our cost, baked into your fixed quote. No "AI usage" line items, no surprises.
  • Your code and content aren't fed into anything you haven't agreed to, and everything we build belongs to you.
